I have been working with a Hitachi LCD panel lately.
The panel is a 640x200 pixel monochrome display.
I have found a EPSON controller chip that handles this size display without any extra memory chips.
The EPSON D137002A1 has 32K bytes of internal memory.
The PCB pictured above is the results of my efforts.
This PCB will be used as a component on a prototype board with the ATmega32 processor.
